The International Engineering Fair MSV, organized by Veletrhy Brno, is considered the most important industrial trade fair in Central Europe and takes place annually at the Brno Exhibition Center in Brno. MSV stands for “Mezinárodní Strojírenský Veletrh,” which means “International Engineering Fair” in Czech.

The MSV covers all relevant areas of machinery and electrical engineering, with a special focus on machining and forming. Core themes of the fair include Industry 4.0 and the Digital Factory, representing the digitalization in production, a central trend in the innovation process. Another central theme is the circular economy, as well as the management of material resources, which are of great importance for sustainable development and the future direction of industry and commerce.

Exhibitors present a wide range of products and services, including materials and components for industrial machines, electronics, automation and measurement technology, sensors, measuring devices, and robotics for automation. Additionally, the fair offers a supporting program that includes conferences, seminars, and workshops on current technical, commercial, and economic topics. The industries represented at the fair are diverse and range from mining and metallurgy to energy technology and high-voltage electrical engineering, as well as ecological technology and research and development.
